Bu, so named cos he has a large waistline and can get a bit pink on occasion ('bu' is the Japanese equivalent of 'oink') and Pu, named affectionately by Bu after the Lord High Executioner from 'the Mikado', met on a sunny April day back in 2000.
Bu, from the UK, found Pu quite irresistible and, once Pu had had a few drinks, he felt the same about Bu too. The rest was utter history…
We now live on the 6th floor of an off-white appartment block in central Yokohama and spend our time either working; Bu works at a university and school and Pu somewhere in Tokyo, or enjoying good food, wine, movies, teasing each other to the point of insanity and thinking about going to places when we have the time and the money.
hello to Bu and Pu, new names ? learned only the passport ones.
Anyway, have fun teasing yoourself and the outside world.

I just googled “bu and pu yokohama” on my work computer…and your guys were the first of 1550 entries that took 0.02 secomds to find. You led a pack of Sciency things I didn’t understand and a couple of Kendo sites. Congrats on being at the top of a google hitlist!
(The fact that I’m googling you at work is an indeication of how wonderful a university job truly is!)
Ooops…I just re-read my post and saw an appalling number of typos and spelling boo boos (pardon the pun).
I tried the same google search and ended up with total nonsense. Only got there through typing in Yokohamarama. Wonder if google searches from different countries therefore yield different results….won’t lose sleep over it though.
こんちは。この前はありがとう!楽しい旅行になったよ。
天気にもなんとか恵まれてたし、BBQとか飲みとかほんと楽しかった☆また遊びに行ったときはよろしくね。
