Birthday

Our friend S has joined the 三十路 club by turning 30 so we had a brief party for him yesterday with a rocket salad snipped from our balcony herb garden and some fine Italian bubbly. Still recovering from the weekend so little else to report. Pics here:

今日は休みです。転職する気満々の一方、なかなか面倒くさくて重い腰があがらないのも事実な今日この頃。今日も掃除して何のあてもなく買い物にでも行き一日は過ぎてしまいそうな雰囲気。

the balcony

A sunny Sunday morning so I take it all back about rainy season starting. Here is the balcony jungle. We are growing tomatoes, courgettes, and various herbs. Had heard from one of my Kamakura ladies that her tomatoes were attacked by monster crows so hope I'll be around with the camera to catch that if it happens. Wonder if Pu would make a good scarecrow? If all is safe expect some pics of some juicy veg in the next couple of months…
